Requirements
Education
- BSc in Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy / Speech and Language Therapy / Rehabilitation Science / Psychology or any relevant qualification from any reputed institution. In case of experienced candidate, qualification could be relaxed.

At least 03 years of professional work experience in relevant sectors;
Have time management, leadership, analytical ability, multitasking, facilitation, communication, presentation and report writing skills;
Have adaptability, teamwork, relationship building, and change management skills;
Basic IT skills, basic knowledge of MS Excel;
Have outstanding skills and expertise in communicating by email and the internet;
Proven experience in development/ humanitarian program management, team management and on Disability inclusion in Development or in Humanitarian response;
Proven experience working with National NGOs and/or other international stakeholders.
Responsibilities & Context
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise/ Assessment and provide therapeutic interventions for people with disabilities through the Camp Based Services, Rehabilitation approach at the clients’ homes and various spots;
- Prescription for the required customized assistive device (e.g., wheelchair, crutches, special seat chair, etc) of the clients through appropriate measurement;
- Provide caregivers training on continuing home exercise and related therapeutic activities;
- Design, Conduct, and supervise PT/OT/ Therapy Assistants for Conducting Awareness raising sessions for camp community people and related;
- Refer the clients to appropriate internal and external facilities and services, including medical services;
- Gather and analyze the unmet need data to do the advocacy at the related government and non-government offices to ensure available mainstream services for people with disabilities;
- Home Modification for better accessibility for Persons with Disabilities;
- Provide training and onsite technical support to related organizations on various aspects of Disability Mainstreaming and Inclusion;
- Selection of appropriate assistive devices for clients;
- Documentation of client files and other related information about service delivery;
- Maintain therapy equipment;
- Supervise/ Assessment of counseling service, protection service and inclusive sports service provided under rehabilitation service;
- Support to produce reports (e.g., case studies, lesson learned reports, client's progress report) on short notice;
- Monitoring overall the fieldwork with a daily presence to oversee the day-to-day activities and ensure activities are delivered following established plans and standards and to ensure the staff’s regular presence and adherence to the code of conduct;
- To monitor the security situation in the working area and then immediately report to project operations manager;
- Identify areas for professional development and share with the Focal at CDD-HQ to enable an action plan to improve professional skills;
- Engage in self-directed learning to grow skills and competencies;
- Seek feedback and support as necessary to improve skills and achieve objectives;
- Any other related task assigned by the authority.

- CDD is accepting application for the position of ‘Field Team Leader’ for the project titled “Inclusive Emergency Assistance to Crisis-affected Rohingya Population in Cox’s Bazar and Bhasan Char, Bangladesh” which will be implemented with the support of Handicap International – Humanity & Inclusion (HI). The duration of the project is till December-2024. Job location for this position is Ukhiya (Camp 05, 06) with extensive field visit at the project location of Bhasan Char.
