- Completed Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with a registered license in Bangladesh.Master of Public Health is desired.Training in Tropical Medicine/Infectious Diseases added advantage.Experience

Responsibilities & Context
Responsibility and Context
In partnership with UNHCR and TEAR fund, FH implements preventives and curative health services for Rohingya Refugees in the Cox’s Bazar District. This is done through direct clinical services in Primary Health Care facilities, and an extensive community health program in Camp-5, & and 12. The position holder is expected to support the organization in meeting the goals.
Surveillance and Reporting of the Activities
Verify for accuracy and completeness all surveillance and reporting data Analyze, verify, and monitor the surveillance activities.
The surveillance includes facility-based and community-based: the weekly EWARS morbidity data, event-based case investigation of individual cases and contacts, community mortality surveillance, etc.
Trace and monitor the trend of morbidity promptly. Alert the team according to the analysis whenever necessary.
Community Health Program Implementation·
Coordinate CHW team activities with guidance from the Health Sector, CHWG, SRHWG, RCCE working group, and Senior Manager- Health.
Execute management and administrative functions such as leave approvals, team cohesion, and harmony, among others, for the CH staff and CHWs.
Ensure quality and timely reporting of Community health data/information.
Representation and Advocacy
Represent FH in the relevant external meetings, as assigned. Update the team and appropriate person after each session in writing promptly. Clarify whatever is necessary.
Keep the team updated on international standards in the relevant area. Evaluate the information with FH against the most updated available knowledge internationally to maintain the quality standard of the activities at the international level.
Report to the supervisor regularly and as requested. To seek help and consult without delay.
Support Coordination and liaison with key stakeholders, e.g., WHO, UNHCR, and Civil Surgeons, to ensure proper coordination, with support and supervision with a supervisor.
Dropout Case Identification and Referral
Provide technical support to identify EPI dropouts, including a review of the dropout list in Camps 5,7 & 12.
Ensure timely referral by the CHWs for eligible children to reduce the dropout rate for EPI.
Any additional job responsibility as provided/delegated by the Senior Manager – health. At least 40% of duties will be for field visits and monitoring purposes.
